Over the last year Flambeau Decoys have come on in leaps and bounds, a few years back a good product was spoilt by poor paint adhesion but that it now well and truly overcome and the latest Classic Mallard even include the latest UV technology.

The Flambeau Classic Mallard features not only an exclusive, original Roger Desjardins carving but also the attention to detail that depicts the Flambeau slogan "Realism that Gets Results". This decoy has an ultra realistic paint scheme applied with Flambeau's proprietary painting process to yield unparalleled adhesion. In addition, the Full Limit Mallard was designed using Flambeau's unique weighted keel which allows the decoy to ride well on the water while providing an area on the keel to wrap and tie your decoy cord.

Flambeau has secured an exclusive license to utilize the patent pending UVision™ coating technology on its leading brand of waterfowl decoys. Developed by the coatings scientists at Twilight Labs, UVision™ matches the reflectance of real feathers in the full range of light visible to birds, including ultra-violet (UV). "With this technology, Flambeau can make the science-backed claim that its decoys are the only decoys with colors that look correct to the birds," says Brian Tande, Ph.D., Co-Founder of Twilight Labs.
