The Flambeau Wildfowlers Wader Chest pack is designed to fit to the D-Rings that you usually get on the front of wildfowling chest waders.

This chest pack is neoprene and finished in the latest Advantage MAX-4 wetlands camouflage as pictured. The chest pack is designed with 12 closed loops front and back so that it will accept a maximum of 24 3.5” 12g cartridges, at a push you could stick 10g hulls in but you may need to leave one or two loops empty. The chest pack has a centre compartment with Velcro close top flap for storage of permits and the like.

Is it a useful bit of kit? Well we think so, I used one last season and found it had a few advantages. Cartridges are ready to hand and easy to access. Cartridges are kept clean and dry so no more dirty shells jamming the auto. If you are wading then cartridges are kept well above the water unlike cartridges kept in your pockets. Unlike cartridges kept loose in your pocket they don’t fall out onto the mud, they don’t get dirty, they don’t get squashed and they don’t get wet.
