Well if ever a call brought in Ducks just based on it’s sexy lines, raunchy name and seductive colour the Banded lady would win hands down – it looks and feels like a £100 call. If it was a girl you'd take her home to meet the parents. Sadly that won’t wash with Mallard so let’s move on to the hard facts!

The Big River Banded Lady Duck Call is made from a tough moulded polycarbonate, all components are well made and finished to an excellent standard. It is a fairly small call and that combined with a nice shape gives a good balance in the hand. Finished in dark green with a clear barrel and silver band. This is a Double Reed Duck Call and, as you would expect, it is more forgiving than a Single Reed, it is very easy to blow and it is also forgiving. The call has a good open bore to aid greater volume making this call suitable for open water work.
