When it comes to hunting waterfowl, deer and the like you cant let a little rain slow you down. With the new Ridgeline Quiet-Tex fabric youll stay dry, comfortable and ready for the shot. The Torrent trousers are cut to fit like your favourite jeans , so you know youll have the freedom of motion needed for even the toughest hunting conditions. Two large slash pockets are sealed from the weather with waterproof zips and two roomy rear pockets ensure ample storage for items you want to keep within easy reach. The two zippered and domed cargo pockets provide extra storage for all your hunting essentials. A non-slip waistband with large belt loops and extended back keeps the pants securely in place during the most demanding activities. The Torrent Trousers have a lightweight mesh lining for comfort. The two layer QuietTex laminated shell fabric has a quiet Tricot outer which resists abrasion and burrs whilst the tape seamed membrane is 100% waterproof (with a 8000mm hydrostatic head), windproof. and resists abrasion and burrs. All in all the Torrent offers unsurpassable extreme weather protection and functionality whilst Hide & Seek HYDROSTATIC HEAD To measure the hydrostatic head of a fabric a column of water is pressed against it. The height of the column is increased until the water penetrates the fabric. The term hydrostatic head is used to denote the amount of pressure of water that is required in order to penetrate a given fabric. The British Ministry of Defence definition for a waterproof fabric is that it must resist a column of water at least 800mm high, 1/10th the standard set by the Torrent.
