Made with the latest a double thickness fleece for comfort and bonded to a DuPont™ Active Layer film this Balaclava also includes an adjustable drawcord for a custom fit.  Provides exceptional moisture wicking and warmth for comfort.

DuPont™ Active Layer is a soft, very breathable, waterproof, windproof and stretchable monolithic polyester film, intended for lamination to a support fabric, in this case fleece. Whether you're skiing on a snow-capped mountain, playing golf in windy and wet conditions or trekking across a rain-soaked parking lot, DuPont™ Active Layer provides outstanding comfort and protection.

DuPont™ Active Layer is a monolithic film that works on the principal of moisture absorption on the inside of the fabric, water vapour diffusion through the fabric, and then evaporation from the outside face of the fabric.

DuPont™ Active Layer offers consistency in water vapour transmission rates (MVTR)  over time, because there are no pores which can potentially get clogged and compromise performance of the garment. In addition, DuPont™ Active Layer exhibits good stretch and recovery qualities, which reduces the potential for tearing and enhances garment comfort.
