The Haydel’s H-81 “Honker” is a very versatile Goose Call that Haydel’s designed for Canada Geese but which we also recommend for Greylag Geese.

I have used the Haydel’s H-81 for about 5 seasons and used it almost exclusively on Greylags as I shoot only the occasional Canada. The H-81 is very easy to blow and “out of the box” it gives a perfect note for Greys. It is so simple to use my little lad has had one on his lanyard since he was 8, and yes he can call Greys with it!

I also like to use this call in combination with my Pinkfoot Call in order to produce the feeding chatter for Pinks, I find that Pinkfoot Calls are pitched just a little to high for a perfect feeding chatter.
