Dave Jackson, co-owner of DJ Illinois River Valley Calls brings more than 27 years of call making experience with the former P.S. Olt Co. Inc, of Pekin, IL. Dave comes from three generations of quality duck and goose call makers and is looking forward to carrying on this great tradition of his father and grandfather.

Dave has been an avid duck, goose, and deer hunter for over 30 years and knows how a quality call should sound. His experience has been requested as a judge in duck and goose calling contests for many years.

Tom Sonderman joined P.S. Olt in 1983 and worked there until the company's closure in 2002. During his 20 years of service with Olt, his skills were key to the development of several new calls. As a third generation Master Call Maker, he is proud to carry on a long family tradition with us now. We are pleased to introduce Tom's latest call which DJ Calls have named the Sonderman 66. Tom designed the call in honour of his grandfather, Al Sonderman, who designed the Olt #66 duck call in 1960. You will find that the DJ Calls Sonderman 66 is a worthy addition to the calls design by the Sonderman Master Call Makers. Hunters all over the world who have used the Olt #66 duck for more than 40 years find that the Sonderman 66 compares favourably to it

All DJ’s calls are finished in walnut barrels with cedar reed holders and are hand tuned and tested before they leave the factory in the USA. Each barrel is laser engraved for identification.

A very simple call to use producing a good rounded note. With a small amount of practice users can produce calls from a very inviting feeding chatter to an attention seeking “comeback” call.
