This weekend Paddlesdown will be attending the seventh BASC Scotland Game Fair at Cardross Estate, Now in its seventh year, the BASC Scotland Centenary Country Fair is set in the grounds of Cardross Estate - a truly rural location yet easily accessible for most of Why not run your own dog in the scurries, have a go at air rifle shooting or take advantage of BASC's expert clay pigeon coaching? For the more experienced there's the chance to compete in our clay pigeon challenge shoot or the open or novice gundog tests. Although the fair remains a true celebration of country sports, there is also lots for all the family to see and do - whether it be our much extended craft tent or the range of activities for the younger members of the family.
Whow, what a busy week! Many of you will be glad to hear that we now have a delivery of Haydel's Calls & DVD's and DVD's from Jack Brittingham on the way to us from the USA, these should be here within a week.
Over the last few weeks we have also taken in Deerhunter Clothing including the Deerhunter Ram Jackets, Deerhunter Wolf Jacket & Trousers, Deerhunter Pacha Jacket & Trousers & Deerhunter Childrens T-shirts. We also have a small quantity of Deerhunter Daytona, Little Oscar, Shooting Waistcoats, Huntsville, Montana and Thunder Fleece clothing. We have also taken delivery of a small quantity of Children's Realtree Insulated Coveralls.
We have now placed a stock list of Shotguns, Rifles and Air Rifles onto our website. Most of our firearms transactions do take place during the Game Fair season (summer & autumn) and we do build up our stocks during this time & stock changes weekly.
We are expecting delivery of Howa Rifles, Mossberg Rifles, Mossberg Shotguns, Lincoln Shotguns, Baikal Shotguns, Savage Rifles, Fausti Shotguns and Bettinsoli Shotguns.

As we move towards Spring many predators are on the move and others become territorial so it is important for Gamekeepers and the like to take advantage of this. As well as the use of traps such as multi-catch cages, Larsen Traps and Tunnel Traps the Shotgun, Rifle and Air Rifle can be very effective providing you can get your quarry within range. To help get your quarry in range for a safe shot and clean kill the competent use of a call is all but essential so we have put together a page about our calls. 4TH DECEMBER 2007 Paddlesdown are pleased to be a Trade member and Supporter of the British Association for Shooting and Conservation, the UK's premier Shooting organiation. We are therefore delighted to learn that the BASC has reached a new record membership level of 127,000 members further strengthening the voice of shooting.

28TH NOVEMBER 2007 To cater for our expanding range of Shooting Clothing and Shooting Accessories we have introduced additional product pages and categories. We now have a dedicated section for Childrens Clothing & this includes the Jack Pyke Childrens Shooting Clothing, Childrens Combat Jackets and Trousers. We have new sections for Shooting Headwear, Shooting Gloves, Cartridge Bags and Cartridge Belts.
We have also increased our range of Shooting Clothing, most noticeably we added a number of Realtree Jackets and Advantage Timber Jackets.

19TH OCTOBER 2007 Todays "HOT" product is the collapasable Shooting Hide Stool. We took our first batch of this product to the Midland Game Fair and sold out by mid-morning on the first day - demand was frantic!
